Presence doesn’t require candles, crystals, or ceremonies — though those can be lovely.
Presence transforms:
• Washing dishes into a meditation
• Walking into grounding
• Breathing into nourishment
• Resting into restoration
Not because the activity changed — but because your relationship to it did.
This is desert spirituality:
Not escape.
Not transcendence.
But embodiment.
To live here.
To stay.
To feel what’s real.
To touch the moment gently instead of rushing past it.
How many moments have we been too busy to actually be present in?
How many times have our children or spouse been excited about something
but we were too busy, too distracted?
How much of our lives are we walking blindly through due to distraction?
I invite you this week to make it your intention
to evaluate where your attention goes…
Where focus goes, energy flows…
Are you truly growing the things that matter?
If not…I invite you to readjust your focus.
Until next time, focus well…
